Terms

Checkout monitoring with honest operating limits.

These terms cover access to Checkout Sentinel for Shopify checkout monitoring and alerting.

Effective May 5, 2026

Service Purpose

Checkout Sentinel is designed to help merchants spot checkout path problems. It is not a replacement for manual incident confirmation, Shopify support, theme testing, or payment provider monitoring.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Monitoring only stores and URLs you are allowed to test.
  • Confirming critical alerts manually before making business decisions.
  • Keeping notification recipients accurate.
  • Using custom selectors carefully, because strict selectors can change monitor results.
  • Removing storefront passwords when they are no longer needed.

Availability And Accuracy

We work to make checks reliable and useful, but we do not promise that every checkout issue will be detected, that every alert will be perfectly classified, or that the service will be available without interruption.

Notifications

Email alerts are best-effort and can be delayed or blocked by mail systems. Future paid notification channels, such as SMS or team routing, may have separate limits and pricing.

Billing

Checkout Sentinel currently offers a free launch plan. When paid plans are enabled, subscription approval, billing, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellation are handled through Shopify Billing.

Data And Evidence

Checkout Sentinel may store check history, screenshots, console messages, and failure details so merchants can understand incidents. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.

Uninstalling

You can uninstall the app from Shopify at any time. To request manual deletion of app data, email mail@erkanerdogan.dk with your shop domain.
